if they send promo copies of lighten up morrissey and/or good morning to enough radio stations, if they send enough copies to magazines and music websites i think they could easily come to more success than with Lil B and HYL _________________ |

well i think morrissey would have better chances in germany because its like more "radio friendly"..
i think for somebody who isnt familiar with russells falsetto, good morning is a bit hard to get.
Morrissey is of course quite popular, especially in the "indie"-scene. not as much as in the uk though. _________________ |

i dont think its any better than the rest of the album but it surely would be a sensible choice for a single because it is catchy even for those who never heard of sparks. just look at the comments on the song on youtube!
Good Morning is a damn fine tune but his strong falsetto is just not that easy to get by the first listen.
no it wouldnt be a no 1 hit, those times are over - today scooter/britney spears faggots have no 1 singles.. but Lighten Up would do quite well i think if they released it on proper single format, do a videoclip and good promo for it.. _________________ |

There is still a possibility that Morrissey will be a UK single-hopefully.It might accompany one or two UK concerts in the new year nicely.Yes i know America and some other regions have had no concerts recently. If i remember correctly the BBC single did not come out until 1996-yonks after the album came out,and it accompanied a UK London show with funky set design.Simon Mayo was onboard the decks too that night. |

deano,i went to that forum gig, simon mayo who gave gs& sv such good promotion was given the introduction honour as a gesture from ron & russ,it was set on the goodship sparks, good gig and i saw a hero of mine the now sadly departed billy Mckenzie..hope your right about the mozza single,i think it should have been the first one and on a physical format, the reason being you would have got the sparks fans plus morrissey collectors buying the single which would have been interesting.
