It's weird seeing ECOTD that low considering it was so bloody good. Maybe I'll have to add the caveat that I thought there was a bigger drop in quality for the final three in my list.

Sorry for this little mistake!

I attended all the shows so I haven't seen any of the webcasts. I wonder if people who watch the webcasts get a very different impression from people at the shows. You miss out on the atmosphere but you may, in some cases, be getting a better sound mix.

of the shows I went to...

Introducing
Gratuitous Sax and Senseless Violins
Lil' Beethoven
Exotic Creatures of the Deep
Indiscreet

With the first three, everything just seemed to gel together so well. I only voted Lil B down from the top because I've seen so many Lil B shows that the novelty has finally worn off! Exotic Creatures was a great show, but it's not my favourite album. The second half was one of their best shows ever, though. There was nothing wrong with the Indiscreet show - it's just that the other ones were even better.
Now I'm wishing I'd splashed out on a golden ticket!!

i'm just interested to know what exactly was wrong with exotic creatures.. for me, balls was at the very bottom of my list of 21 (aside from all the technical problems, i thought it didn't translate well at all, the least impressive of all the shows), and exotic creatures number one (just the sheer gutsy-ness of the stage show for one, a triumph as far as i'm concerned).

obviously it'll be different for everyone but what's wrong with asking for reasons?

Nothing at all, but you didn't...!

You called T.N.K.'s list 'weird' because he/she rated the concerts in an order that you personally don't agree with.

That's not quite the same thing as saying "I'd be interested to know what you didn't like about the ECOTD gig and why you rated the Balls gig higher..."

Empire - Even if at the back downstairs it was very hard to see stuff on stage, the sound was okay. If only this idiot stopped rambeling to his mate every 5 seconds i don't know why they don't stay at home behind their computers. Ofcourse i'm sad i've missed the first 5 albums and that it's over but now i can start listening to the ECOTD -cd.
