I agree, and if they could get a fiddle to add to the sound it would be even more awesome! _________________ "but we can hear what others can't hear..." |

I agree it was one of the highlights of the night and I'm sure Russell said he'd enjoyed singing it so much it would definately be in the ultimate encore. _________________ ....It's the calm before the storm...... |

GOOFING OFF is a fantastic song, an anthem, combining true musical wealth with profound, sarcastic lyrics, an ideal representative of the Mael brothers talent. The climactic Russian-style guitar solo is among the very best I've ever heard. I waited 31 years to hear it live and I was there too a week ago, they did such an amazing job. I *must* hear it again live too, I'm returning to London on the 13th. But I won't vote for it yet, as I hope this song has enough votes already. -- Can we see the current ranking at all?

As Russell himself voted for Goofing Off it might be pretty safe to assume it will be included. It's his party!
I wonder what Ron's choice would be. And the rest of the band for that matter? _________________ I'm Not .... Getting dressed today! |

Russ's vote went to The Decline And Fall Of Me....also he wants to sing A Song That Sings Itself...and as he said himself it's HIS show...but I'll bet Ron will have a few words with him about that....lol |

Yes, sorry Alex you are quite right about Russell's vote - but I'm sure I remember him saying something encouraging about wanting Goofing Off in the encore list. _________________ I'm Not .... Getting dressed today! |

Yup - I think it's fair to suggest that this one is in the setlist. |

Got to agree with Russell that these two songs went down a storm on the night. _________________ Reaction
