I Thought I Told You To Wait In The Car is one of Sparks' best ever songs, in my opinion: it's funny, it's got a memorable hook, it tells a story, and it pointed the way to the band's more recent style. A classic!

Love Hear No Evil........ cuz it's freaky sounding, in a wonderful way. When I first heard it, I couldn't talk, it really affected me somehow.

"When Do I Get To Sing My Way" will always be my all time favourite Sparks song. Russell's voice sounds fantastic on it.I heard it for the first time when I was eight, my Dad let me hear the album and at first I didn't know what to make of it, me and my sister would slag him for liking such a weird band but I secretly liked it. GS & SV is my fav Sparks album, it conjures up memories of sitting in the car with my Dad and watching him singing and dancing to his personal favorite: "Frankly Scarlett I Don't Give A Damn" (It's a wonder I turned out normal).
