(because when I was 10 I was stung by about 7-8 of them on my back about within 10 minutes or so I guess).
We were 4 boys outside and one of the others saw wasps coming towards us that we or maybe I and /or a cat (I think a cat was involved aswell) have made VERY angry.

Only I got stung and I felt it on my back running and some of them followed me inside where I lived aswell and stung me there.

Maybe I was the slowest running of us?

A neighbour wondered the other day what had happened to their cat that didn´t look to well so I think he or she also got a dose of wasps.

Nowadays I can handle wasps better (I´m not hysterical around wasps or any wasp) but sometimes I dream about wasp or wasps and it´s not so pleasent then.
Maybe it stands for something else in my dreams?
OH SORRY LONG POST and ended with rather deep-talk but I got carried away.

(I was stung too Sparksswede, although not as many times as you. I was stung on the arm in a carpark in Quimper a few years ago. I was just about to put some money in the parking machine when this horrid wasp piqued me on the arm, and I threw my arm up in shock and, since my purse was open, all my money went flying through the air and landed all over the place. I went into a pharmacie (with tears, obviously cos I'm a baby, and it hurt) and the lovely, lovely pharmacist cleaned it up and put some ointment on my arm. He was very nice and kind. )

Money...!

I was once stung by a bee but richly deserved it, as I'd been catching butterflies off the lilac all afternoon and finally caught something I didn't intend to... 'eurowasps' are especially horrifying; I remember standing under a lamp, oblivious, for some time when in Southern Germany and on stepping away saw it heaving with wasps the size of my thumb. I had bleached hair at the time, too, and you know how insects seems to hone in on the colour yellow...got off lucky!

No-one phobic about daddy-long-legs...? Thereby hangs another tale...
