I’d say Aeroflot was a brand name and more tenuously Big Boy is (was???) a burger franchise in the US |

ah, yes ... Aeroflot ... though the brand has never been that relevant to the western world...
by the way I used to fly with Aeroflot in th 80s with
the plane coming from former Leningrad (now St. Petersburg again) from former East-Berlin to Athens/Greece |

Not the first time…Uniqlo and MacDonalds are at least two previous namechecks |
Or in the case of 'Perfume', about 30 ! |

I can't say I've heard of 'JanSport backpacks' before, so whatever the song's about will be all new to me! _________________ "but we can hear what others can't hear..." |

I have a question about something that the Sparks store has on the American site. When you read "Please note this is a pre-order and will ship for the release date: 23rd May 2025", do you interpret that as meaning "will be sent to arrive on or around May 23rd" or "will be sent on or around May 23rd"? Thanks in advance for you input. _________________ better drop the requirement that everything be great |

All l can say is that when l pre ordered the Annette album it arrived exactly on the release date although l know some other people waited quite a while......I'm naively assuming that it'll be the same with MAD... |

Don't forget 'iPhone'. With it's great fun video, it's definately a brand song title.
'Big Boy' came to mind as well. Love this track with it's thundering drum intro. The American dining restaurant is still going too l think. _________________ The fan formally known as kermit

Yes, but "iPhone" is the song's title which is what your initial point was highlighting & not how it was used in the lyrics. If that's your observation then there are dozens of examples of brand names included in Ron's lyrics over the years. _________________ The fan formally known as kermit
