I can't access Sparks at Glastonbury from iPlayer because it is only available in the UK. Apparently the BBC is onto VPNs, so even those didn't work. I was able to see much of Cate Blanchett's appearance in TGICIHL through Twitter. Here it is, if anyone is interested:

Here is the official BBC version on Youtube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YL97CRvXr9Q
Word has it that someone will try to rip the whole performance and put it on YouTube. Admin peeps, I hope that I'm not breaking some rule by saying this. _________________ better drop the requirement that everything be great |

The iplayer link of the performance has cut two songs from the live show (nothing is as good as they say it is and my babys taking me home) |

I screen recorded the live stream with the full set using a vpn; the audio jumps a bit, but it's pretty good. PM me for an anonfiles link. |

Has anyone got any ideas as to why Nothing Is As Good As They Say It Is and No.1 Song In Heaven got cut from the BBC footage? _________________ 'You'll be in the future if you don't do nothing foolish' - Ron Mael

When the touring's all wrapped up, and we see what songs were played in the whole, there's certainly an interesting debate to be had on the make-up of the setlist. You've got the perennial standards and tracks from the new album, but some of the other choices were (in my opinion) very strange indeed - almost as if someone had thrown darts at the back catalogue and put in whatever they hit. |

What would you say was odd excluding the classics and the new stuff? I really enjoped the gig! (Kate was definitely odd) |

Yeah, I just noticed that, what a bummer! I wonder why they did that and if they cut other acts' sets? |

Totally agree, if you're going to lose any 2 songs those are at the top of the list. |

I'd happily have lost "a love story". The rest delighted me - we go dancing and balls especially so, mainly owing to Russell's energetic performance. (He did appear a bit fatigued by Glastonbury though, unsurprisingly). _________________ Tomorrow I'll find out all I should know... |
