Hi, I was listening to Lil' B on my dvd surround sound system an thought it sounded really good.... but thought it would sound alot better getting a 5.1 suuround sound treatment... does anyone agree?? _________________ Did you touch the thermostat ? Definitely NO! Live music is not reproduced in 5.1. Nor are studio recordings. It's for Cinema surround sound only IMHO... The "enhancements" you hear are not real. Only a synthesis of the original stereo tracks. We only have two ears after all! Well, most of us do.... In a music video, the sound stage should be the stage itself, with the width of the sound coming only from front left and right. Unless you want to hear the munching of popcorn, coughing etc. from all around you!

Even regular stereo on the TV annoys me...it gets turned off :-)
but the most annoying thing is when people have the TV on FULL VOLUME with 5.1.....I don`t know why but I feel like smashing the thing in....lol |
