For some time this forum connection is not secure logins entered here could be compromised.
My account has been hacked and they know my email address and password. I changed my password but it won't take them long to find the new one. I received 2 scam emails saying they have malware on my computer and know all my details unless i pay them 800$ in bitcom. I did a full security scan and everything seems ok, i also see lots of info on-line and about these scams. Can this forum be made more secure?
Has this happen to anyone else? |

Hello Miss Sparks, a strong password should be enough to keep them out. |

I've gotten scam emails at work with a similar bitcoin ransom demand, but the scammers were bluffing - what they claimed to have done to my work computer was physically impossible. It seems to me the best course of action is to check and increase computer security as you have done, and to ignore the scam emails (any response will most likely only encourage them further, and scammers typically send such emails out in bulk figuring even a small percentage falling for it make their crime profitable.)
I concur that increasing security of this forum would also be helpful to all honest Sparks fans. |

Seems this problem is happening to several people here.
I had three more scam emails yesterday demanding more money now 1400$, just hope they get fed up with no response and move on. |

Add me to the list of hacked members. Agree that the site should be a secured connection. This lack of security will put off people participating in the forum. |

When you go into the new Sparks official website page, select forum. You can go to forum secure when logging on. :) |

How do you do that last bit? When I tried it just went to the same URL as usual, with no padlock. For secure, the URL needs to begin https _________________ Gonna hang myself from my family tree. |

You are right the last part is still not secure. It starts off secure, after you log on it changes back to no padlock. :( |

Having logging problems today onto the secure home page. Having to log on via a not secure home page which can have my account hacked. Hope just a glitch and be sorted out soon. Anyone else having problems logging in. |

Something strange with the website. Home page now secure, but when you log on it stops. Backspace twice to homepage and click on forum and your logged on. Must be a glitch. |
