So how would you spend your time when you´d be granted an appointment with Sparks (at home, at work, at play ?) ? _________________ - Karin. |

Now THIS is more like it ! Good girl !
Neat posting, but you didn't include:
1) Showing old holiday videos
2) Swapping cigarette cards
3) Seeing you can beat who at Tombraider (Laura Croft is well sexy she should join Sparks)
4) In depth intellectual conversations about Stravinsky's influence on modern day architecture
5) Trying to collect royalties for handing over all those old Doris Day cheques (old Sparks fans will know what I mean)
6) Picking your nose to find out who can drag up the biggest bogey....
Heh heh heh |

Fidel, I have heard the references to Doris Day and I have been a fan since 1982--I don't know if that is "old"--but I don't get it--what is up with the Doris Day thing--enlighten me please. |

OK...a long long time ago...in a rather boring interview the Maels were asked who their parents were. To liven things up a bit they replied they were the illigitimate offspring of Albert Einstein and Doris Day. Two years later, with TOTP, chart fame and royalty cheques starting to come due, the inefficient royalty publishing company lost Ron & Russell's address. One enterprising clerk recalled the interview concerned, realised that Einstein had long kicked the bucket, but got hold of Doris Day's agent, told him some royalty cheques were due and got hold of the Great Dames address to send them to. Cue several years of a bemused, elderly Doris Day being sent royalty payment cheques for "This Town Ain't Big Enough For Both Of Us" and so on....
So now you know.
This could ONLY happen to Sparks. |

PS: and the Maels were actually born with the surname "Day". Their Mum, Mary Martin, who is a lovely old lady, runs the Sparks fan club. :D |

How about watching filthy porn movies ? Actually some of the music in those is quite good, maybe Sparks could do a soundtrack to an adult film, that'd be cool.... |

I voted swimming. I can totally see Ron decked out in a retro 1920's swimsuit! You know, the ones that have suspender tops and go down to the knees and feature horizontal stripes! |

being in the studio would be amazing, just to have a tiny bit of their magic rub off on me would be priceless! |

I would consider murdering someone if it meant I could be in the studio while R&R were working on an album. _________________ David Alston. |
