TSOIB would be ideal for this. Just transposing the LA FilmFest performance to Edinburgh. Use the same leading actors, if they're available and local actors for extras. If R&R are still trying to get investors for the film, Edinburgh Festival has a pretty big clout. Isn't it the world's biggest arts festival? _________________ Gonna hang myself from my family tree. |

Surely this must have been considered by the management at Republic in the last year or two. TSOIB is perfect for Edinburgh. _________________ But when I trimmed it real small my Jewish friends would never call. |

Wow!!! FFS Franz Ferdinand Sparks are part of the official Edinburgh Festival.
The late summer Edinburgh Festivals are the biggest cultural events programme in the World.
Most of what people see of the "Edinburgh Festival" is actually its Fringe. Open to all, the Fringe is longer and wider with around 49,000 performances over the course of a month. This is what the vast majority of acts only qualify for. All of the aforementioned acts will be playing the Fringe. Often Fringe performers have to make do with off-pitch or makeshift venues, given that the best venues are used for the official Festival programme.
To be part of the select Edinburgh Festival, artists must be carefully chosen by committee of the great and good. The lucky artists must be performing something special with outstanding cultural merit.
To be able to use the sought-after premier venue that is the Edinburgh Festival theatre at the height of the festivals, is hugely prestigious.
An HONOUR indeed for both Sparks and Franz Ferdinand. |
