Apologies for the late contribution - I haven't really been here much since the Sparks Spectacular time - but the Barbican gig was stunning! Ranks in my Top 5 all-time Sparks gigs, surpassed only by Plagiarism from the Spectacular and the "come-back" gig at the Shepherds Bush Empire in the early 90s. |

I'm even more late, but I have to say that the new version of "Singing in the Shower" is fantastic. This ethereal piano and the half-whispering delivery of Russell transform it completely into another song. In fact perhaps this is the true spirit of this song, now that the contrast between lyrics and the original orchestration is gone.
