Pop Music - M 7/10

I have this on a 12" single (12MCA413). The sleeve describes it as the first "Double Groove" single. Side 1 has two grooves which spiral into the middle together. One groove is the A-side "Pop Musik" and the other groove is the B-side "M Factor". When you lower the pick-up arm, you don't know which groove the stylus will land in! Oh, the suspense! I don't think anyone else ever did this. Perhaps it is a collector's item. Side 2 has just one groove with the full length disco mix of "Pop Musik". They call this groove the 'Seaside'.

I got this one as well. It sure is a collectable. I think almost the only 'band' to have done so. I google just one other mention of a KISS single being double grooved.

The Number One Song in Heaven (10/10)

From the first(?) Sparks CD - The best of Sparks (1985) Carrere / Underdog. Still one of my favourites.
