Is it possible to receive all new topics/replies
via email so that it's not necessary to visit
the forum to stay informed/up-to-date?

If you reply to a post than underneed the input filed there are a couple of options worth looking at. One is: Notify me when a reply is posted. Good luck!

Yes, I knew this, but is there a way to additionally
get those threads emailed to which I don't reply?

Maybe a hidden function in phpBB...?
