A friend has sent to me an image of a newspaper cutting showing "Half Nelson" playing on the same bill as Alice Cooper in November 1970. Anybody else got any info on this? I assume it must be our Halfnelson.
Interested too to read in Dave Thompson's book on Alice that R&R and the band attended a Cooper gig at UCLA sometime in 69/70. |

According to the Alice Cooper web site SickthingsUK, the gig was the Homecoming Dance at UCLA Ackerman Union Grand Ballroom on 20th November 1970. Alice Cooper were supported by Bones, Christopher Milk and Half Nelson.
It was advertised in the UCLA Daily Bruin, follow up article suggests that Halfnelson may not have played. |
