Posting for fellow Sparks fan & Friend John Dignan.

I've just bought a beautiful pub 5minutes from the Oval tube station and 40 minutes from the Union Chapel! You can find it on FB - Theroebuckoval or at www.theroebuck.org.uk - and for anyone turning up before any of the gigs with a Sparks ticket (or the ability to quote an obscure lyric and amuse me), I'll be delighted to offer Hospitality on Parade along with discount on food and drink before we head off for the evening's entertainment. Please come and see us - and if you'd 'like' us aswell, I'd be happy so happy. Less than a month to go

The Roebuck // Oval
www.theroebuck.org.uk
The Oval's hidden gem where food, ale and entertainment (with a lovely hidden garden) meet in perfect harmony.

Is this the best place to meet, and for which concerts? (I'm going to the ones on the 24th and 2nd). I don't know the area, so I don't know of any other places.

Has to be said it's not the closest of places, but if we're all meeting there I suppose it doesn't matter.

Google maps has also just informed me that there is a pub literally opposite the union chapel called the Library.

Where did you meet up beforehand on Sunday and will it be the same venue this Sunday?

Won't be there this weekend but there's a cracking pub literally behind the UC called the Compton Arms. A traditional pub that does real beer and home cooked food.

The Hope and Anchor opposite the venue on the main road is a good pub, and a few of us were there before and after the first London show. The pub's got a lot of musical history behind it, but no Sparks connections I know of.

I have just acquired a ticket for Monday's show (Thanks Leslie). Happy to meet up with anyone else who's going, before or after the show.
