Imagine Russel's voice and some orchestral or syinth from Ron.

Funny you should mention 007. The John Barry soundtrack piece by that name is the basis of the riff to "Ugly Guys With Beautiful Girls". I was going to start a thread about Sparks' musical quotes before the forum went down, but I've since lost my list.

Veering further off topic, I've found a couple of stock music pieces reminicent of Sparks songs. An old DeWolfe LP owned by a friend has a track called "Chemistry Lab" with the same feel as "Senseless Violins". The Plagiarism version of "Big Brass Ring" (never heard the original) is similar to a piece of stock used in Gerard Damiano's The Satisfiers Of Alpha Blue.
