You may of notice i have not been posting here on the forum for week. Not because i been on holiday, wish it was but i had very bad fall in a supermarket car park. I fell and hit a concrete kerb. I heard my hip crack, and couldn't get back on my feet the pain was terrible. Elderly couple found me on the ground and contact supermarket staff who called the ambulance. Ambulance staff was good to help and got me hospital quick. Had x-ray very bad fracture and had operation for a complete hip the next morning. Been very life changing, but back home 6 days later. Not easy going up and down stairs with 2 crutches and still in a lot of pain. Will take each day as it comes.

Oh no, I'm so sorry for you, sounds terrible! Hope the pain will get more manageable very shortly.

Those past few months have been so hard for you, I hope you get better quickly :(

Thanks for your best wishes. Got a very bad upset stomach and leg cramps that happen at night when I'm trying to sleep. Waiting for a nurse to visit don't know when.

Been 9 days since i left hospital just had a visit from the nurse had blood test and change of dressing. Pain is not so bad now, but will take time to get back to normal.

That's good news, things will be getting better each day, one step at a time. Glad to know the pain is going away.

Hope your other symptoms are improving as well, miss sparks. I know firsthand it's easier to heal up when the stomach isn't rejecting attempts to ingest food, water, and prescribed medications - but I'm glad to see you're getting follow-up care and feel well enough to resume internet activity, at least.

Now six weeks since my operation, doctor not happy that my wound is not healing very well. Put on Antibiotics for 10 days, plus blood tests and x-ray. Back to hospital on 10th September for another check up.
