I'll surely listen to it as an enhanced version since I won't have Cotillard's and Driver's voices ruining it.
More Russell (and a bit of singing Ron too!) is exactly what I needed!

i do not know, if the actors ruined the music ...
but I think the original Sparks version might be
more sarcastic than the movie version ...
and I think even the end is different from the movie...

so ... yes, we might get a more pure Sparks version
of Annette

Yeah I guess it's a matter of taste, even if I know the actors worked very hard on this performance, I'm not a fan of their voices.
And compared to Russell's voice, the competition is unfair anyway!

I only hope this release will be available online...

I wasn't going to spend the money but l changed my mind and have ordered it. (l believe it was My Other Voice that made me do it) .. On reflection l feel it's probably quite a significant work and l'm really looking forward to hearing in on my old battered record player... (which knowing my luck, will give up the ghost the day before the records arrive!)

I misread today's fan club email this morning and thought it said Annette 2013 could be downloaded in the fan club section of the site, but of course it want just the newsletter about Annette 2013 that was there for download. Was really excited for several minutes!

I'm loving this original Annette...... I would write a bit more about it but l'm actually just going to listen to it again and possibly again.......
(l had no problem with the Adam Driver/Marion Cotillard combination but THIS is Sparks and it's just a bit special)

Maybe you should make enquiries again Brightonian... I got notification the day before the release date and the records arrived on Saturday 26th.....
Waiting is horrible, hope you get them soon., 🤞
