Their version of 'This Town...' is talked about more than their own songs in those articles! I'll look forward to hearing the album when it comes out.

'This Town' by TLDP has officially been released as a single in the UK today. 30th August 2024.
Their re-released 1st album, with the new tracks, is also officially released today as well.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if this sees the song return to the UK Top 10 again. It can only be good for Sparks anyway.

No chart entries a week after release for the single or the updated first album. I'm surprised but go figure.

I've pre-ordered the album and my understanding it's released on 11 October. If that's so, presumably the pre-order figures kick in then.

It seems many releases these days have several tracks available before the actual album release. I’m guessing streaming services and social media are the reason but it would be interesting to see sales numbers that support this strategy.

I wish I would have taken the two hour drive earlier this year when they were playing a club. They may never be in clubs again!
