Sparks to perform at BBC Radio 6 Music Festival 2017 in Glasgow, Friday March 24th at O2 Academy Glasgow!!

So jealous of anyone who gets to go to this! Meanwhile I'll be faced with dilemma of whether to check out the new songs via whatever youtubes get posted from this show or try to wait for the album to come out.

Very confusing, according to the Six webpage Sparks are playing at Saint Luke's and the Winged Ox with Goldfrapp..........

Wow what a bargain! Lucky Scots! £30 to see Sparks and Goldfrapp on the same night both previewing songs from their new albums. Crisps & booking fees extra of course. A Russell / Alison duet could be the only time they might get the chance to do 'mother earth' live together.....especially the slow to fast version. One can prey.
I see John Lydon is at the festival too. It would never happen but I would sell my grandmother if she was still alive to hear him rip into the 'Big Beat' album. Imagine 'Nothing to do', 'Everybody's stupid' 'Screwed up', 'Throw her away and get a new one', 'Fill 'er up', 'White women' and 'Big boy' etc...
He could actually have another hit album! No more I can't believe it's not butter adverts!
Can anyone get a message to him? Lol!

Due to other commitments that cannot be changed I will miss this date - first ever Scottish date missed since 1974 at Caird Hall

if this gig was in London I would be all over it but Scotland is too far/expensive. I shall wait until they announce the tour but those who are going are so lucky getting a first taste of the new album!!! hopefully the release cant be too far away now

Managed to get a ticket after queueing for 20 mins on Ticketweb.
