Thanks for letting me know there was some truth in it. Just wondered when there didn't seem to be any snow where the reporter was. How much accumulation?

Around -25 C - -30 C here.
Which I like, but I wouldn't mind more snow, as we've haven't had a proper snowfall since late October.

I had a load of Jackdaws(sorry don't know the collective noun for that

) scaring off the tits and collared doves yesterday....it was a gang of starlings(who teamed up with a squirrel)who eventually chased them off.

I'm running about like a mad thing(nothing new there then)...trying to get all these breakdowns sorted so people can get heat back in their houses!!!

Snow and a lot of gloom today in central PA. End of the week near 0 F deg. My kind of weather. Remember because I love winter, I get to complain in the summer. Just putting you on notice.

Jessie, you'll be glad you're not in Australia (just south of Sydney) today - 30 degrees celsius (about 86 F). I love it though (it's winter I complain about!)

You're correct. I'd love to see Australia but the current warm weather would not be for me. Hey, at least there's some weather we each can enjoy. :) The big storm headed to the Northeast this week is now beginning Mon and still continuing through Wed.!
